SCRRA assists the development of, and advocates for, recovery support resources that assist recovering persons the old-fashioned way – in a democratic culture, with enthusiasm for recovery and commitments to being of service to others.
The Association provides the following:
- Information, training, technical assistance and advocacy for quality sober living homes and community centers.
- Identifies and quality assures quality sober living homes in coordination with local county sober living coalitions. Coalition member homes are inspected to assure they are healthy, safe, well-managed, ethical and are good neighbors.
- Advocates for recognition, respect and legitimacy for community recovery support resources. We keep current on Federal, State and local sober living government activities.
- The Association is a public benefit group that gratefully accepts donations from those who understand the need for long-term recovery support housing and community centers.
- The Association does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, age, national origin, language, gender, sexual preference, or physical handicap in its services or hiring practices.
